Technology is developing rapidly, and with it, our methods of digital preservation. In the book, Exploring Past Image in a Digital Age: Reinventing the Archive, the question of film and its preservation is brought to the reader’s mind. Film archives cover a wide range of cultural and historical information; they are a valuable asset in research. However, digitization has begun to guide them towards obsolences. Archival digitization must not forget or disregard these resources, which is what the book tackles.
